About me

My name is Julia Dymak and I offer holistic support for families with babies and young children. My goal is to help you cope with the challenges of this exciting period of parenting.

Why I love, what I do...

I will probably never forget the first smile of a baby and the first "Julia, don't go" from my protégés! Every day brings something new and exciting and that's what makes my job as a nanny the best in the world!

For as long as I can remember, I wanted to work in childcare, but an apprenticeship in sales intervened when I was young. During my three years of apprenticeship, I spent my evenings and weekends babysitting and that's when I realized that working in childcare was a calling for me.

After my apprenticeship, I went head over heels for the adventure of nannying abroad and luckily found the perfect family for me in Northern Ireland straight away. During this time, I looked after 4 children aged between 4 and 11. The time flew by and only strengthened my resolve.

In 2013, the time had finally come and I started my first kindergarten assistant course, only to find a job as an English-speaking kindergarten assistant shortly afterwards. In 2019, I extended my training to become a childcare assistant and childminder. In 2020, I flew to London to complete the Maternity Nurse course (infant nanny = no medical training) and also used the Covid-19 quarantine to gain certificates in the areas of: Switching babies to solid foods, looking after multiples and gentle sleep training. All these courses made me want to learn more and experience more. Therefore, more and more extensive further training courses followed, such as: Colic and allergies in infants/babies, the too tight frenulum of the tongue and of course the expansion from gentle sleep trainer to holistic sleep trainer.

During my time in kindergarten, I gained a lot of experience in educational work with children between the ages of 1 and 6. However, this was not enough for me and I felt the urge to develop even further in order to be able to support families even more specifically and better. It really tore my heart out to only be able to give families tips here and there in the kindergarten without really being able to fully accompany them, as 20 other children also needed my full attention in the background.

Here you can find out...

How I can help you as a sleep coach

As a certified sleep coach, I would like to accompany you as a family through the different sleep phases of your baby. My approach to this is: We can do it together and without tears. The "cry it out" concept is not an option for me, as it does not help your child, but only pushes them into helplessness and resignation.

How I can help you as a Maternity Nanny...

Are you already parents or about to become parents? Whether it's biological children, adoption or surrogacy, I can provide you with advice and support. With my open, honest and calm manner, I would like to accompany you through the first phase of uncertainty. The parent-child relationship is my top priority and it is therefore important for me to tailor my work to you.

Daycare: In daycare, I will accompany you throughout the day and support you with all baby-related tasks such as changing diapers, bathing, feeding, cleaning bottles and putting your baby to bed...

Night care: During night care, I will wake you up when it's time to breastfeed or take over bottle-feeding for you so that you can get a good night's sleep.

Or you may want 24/7 support (with an agreed break in between) so that you can rely on support around the clock. As you can see, there are many options open to you.
